SilverStone FT02 Review Redline | Redline reviews of computer in Dallas. Case Review It was a dream case to work in, but my first impression was that this issue can be very uncomfortable because of the orientation of the motherboard. I was totally wrong. Time spent building the system was never more than in any other case, if not faster. There was a lot of room to work. At no time, I feel that I have been working in confined spaces. The innovative design of the motherboard tray works to make much easier to install and remove it during construction. Each cable should be easily hidden behind the motherboard and the upturned video card is nice and clean when they were hidden by the underside motherboard. Don’t try too hard to achieve the proper cable management, it seems to happen naturally in this case. And because of the orientation of the motherboard, the air flow is continuous, because there is nothing blocking the path as air rises. As the heat rises, three 180 mm fans at the bottom to create a positive pressure in the event that forces hot air through the roof.

Pros: This is by far the best computer ever owned. When searching for the event came to a decision between Silverstone FT02B and Corsair Obsidian. I definitely think you made the right choice. Cool air flow is second to none, and the air is filtered by the bottom fan filters, they look very clean and professional. Dust filters are great. Sliding the front panel ports there is agood amount of room on the inside to work easily and without having to worry about cuts an nicks. Acoustic foam is great, it quiet, but I added about 4 square feet Dynamat Extreme to cover some of the most vulnerable spots and to strengthen certain areas that tend to make rattles when the case is all loaded up. Everything depends on you, I’m a supporter of a quiet or silent computing. It was nice of Silverstone to include a housing for one SSD right out of the box. I doubt that I could say something about this case that the other reviewers did not move on already. Transfer of components from my old case, into this beauty was a breeze. Silverstone cares about their products and it shows. This case screams quality and innovation, in my opinion, is the best on the market.

Cable management is something that was thought at the beginning, installing / replacing hard drives and optical drives is easy. There is enough room for all my components, and a lot of space to work – I’ve never had to try to squeeze my hands into a small space to put things in. Something to remember, there are many opportunities for the cables and maintain a clean and professional, but it may be necessary to extend the cables if you plan to route some of them under the motherboard tray or in other areas. And though I never cared much for aesthetic issues that this case was fantastic.
Another thing to think about: If a modular power supply, I do not recommend using extension cords on them, because each point of connection creates current resistance, and if you are skirting the max load on your PSU, you may experience instability with additional connectors.
Reversing the video card into a vertical position allows the intake 180mm fan to blow air on it directly, which then powers the air through the heat sink and out .
Very high quality craftsmanship. All built-in, hard. Although most of the components put the center of gravity on top, the weight is still evenly distributed. The only way in this case will tip over is if you push it. Bumping will not move it.

Cons: cables can be a pain. There is less than a half-inch space between the rear and the motherboard. Make sure that the distribution of the cables behind it is good, otherwise it will create a bulge when you try to reinstall it. I spent about two dozen zip ties and a handful of zip-tie anchor on my setup. Do not rush and do not worry … everything will be okay in the end!

Rating: This is the second SilverStone personally bought, and was not disappointed, just so you know, the first of which TJ06, I still love today, 4.5 years later, now I have a home storage server.
